MEET THE TEAM

LOUISE STUART
MBE MSc DpodM FCPM

Louise is an Extended Scope Practitioner providing assessments and treatments for lower limb musculoskeletal injuries using therapies such as Fascial Manipulation and Shockwave Therapy. 

Louise was a consultant podiatrist in Manchester, with 30 years’ experience in the treatment of diabetes-related foot problems. 

Louise was recognised in ‘The Times’ 2011 as one of the UK’s best health care professionals. She has worked exclusively in the specialist area of diabetes and was awarded an MBE for her services to her profession by the Queen in 2008.

TOM SANDY
BSc(Hons)

Tom joined Gold Standard Footcare once achieving a first-class honours degree in Podiatry from the University of Salford.

Tom previously undertook a degree in biology from Sheffield Hallam University giving him a strong baseline knowledge of pathologies.

Tom is very into Personal fitness and is keen to utilise podiatric strategies to help aid sporting and musculoskeletal injuries. Tom is very friendly and approachable and always puts the patient first when providing care.

SARAH JACOBSON
BSc (Hons)

Sarah has joined the team at Gold Standard Foot Care as an Associate Podiatrist working. Sarah is an experienced podiatrist, qualifying 17 years ago. Sarah specialises in the treatment of both the elderly and of young children. 

Sarah is no stranger to Gold Standard Foot Care as our Managing Director, Louise Stuart, was her lecturer during her times as a student podiatrist. Sarah is a local Prestwich girl with a passion for her job and community.
