Ingrowing toe nails can occur for a number of different reasons such as cutting the toe nail incorrectly, wearing tight fitting shoes, via injury or due to the natural shape of the toenail.

ROUTINE FOOT CARE

We provide routine podiatry/chiropody care at our clinic whether this is general nail cutting, callus or corn removal. We are able to book patients back in at routine intervals, either six or eight weeks, to ensure we meet their podiatry foot care needs.

Tailored foot care for all your children’s needs. Verruca’s, ingrowing toe nails and the provision of insoles for developmental foot problems such as flat feet, club foot or limb length discrepancies.

It’s especially important to look after your feet if you have diabetes. 
We can help if you notice breaks in the skin of your foot, if there is discharge seeping from a wound, if any skin on the foot changes colour and becomes more red, blue, pale or dark.

Heel pain is extremely common and often caused by plantar fasciitis, however it can also be caused by a stress fracture, tendonitis or arthritis.

If you are worried about your verruca, self-treatment is not working and/or the verrucae appears to be getting larger or more painful, please visit our clinic.
There are a few treatment plans available depending on the location, size and severity of pain of the verrucae. All treatments will depend on a full assessment of your general health and well-being.
